Our rates vary depending on the time needed. We have a standard hourly rate during weekdays 6am-6pm. Weekend, nights and holidays are slightly more per hour. We ask that a minimum visit be at least 4 hours and we have a scheduled visit at least 2 times per week. Please send us a email and we would be happy to send you a rate sheet.
We first like to have an initial consultation to find out the specific needs you or your relative have. We will assess the time needed and care needed. We then ask for pertinent information regarding sleep, diet, physical ailments, medications and what kind of daily routine is common. We will determine if this fits with our caregiving services, time needed and the appropriate caregiver(s). We are non medical help at this time.
Our caregivers fill out a form for each visit. This form includes everything from the time they get to the residence to the time they leave. They document all duties performed, the time medication reminders were given and when the medication was actually taken by the client. In the event transportation is needed and the caregiver uses their own vehicle, the miles will be reported, time and destinations. In the event the caregiver notices anything out of the ordinary or unusual, they will call the office and report it on the documentation. Depending on the case, it may be reported to the family immediately or by the end of the workers shift.
No, we prefer not to have a key for access, as it may get lost and the logistics for getting the key from one caregiver to another could be potentially difficult. In the event the client is incapacitated and cannot answer the door, we ask that a lock box be put on the house somewhere hidden. In addition to knowing when we will arrive, if we need to let ourselves in, we will announce are arrival upon opening the door.
In the event you have long term care insurance we will work with them to find out the most convenient way to establish billing and payment. In the event this is privately paid for, we submit invoices via email directly to the person(s) that we were directed to upon initial consultation. Our billing cycle is every two weeks.
Yes, usually we can accommodate an unscheduled stop to make sure everything is fine.
Yes, we understand that many families are concerned about how their loved ones are being treated in assisted living homes. In many cases we can provide visits to check up on them or provide companionship.

Possibly! Depending on the days and hours required will determine if we can accommodate that request. Our caregivers are very special people, most of which have families they are helping to support. We try to balance your needs as well as theirs. We can assure you that if you like a particular caregiver, we will arrange that that person is with you the majority of the time you are requesting. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee they will be available at all times needed.
